For the Teile series stone offcuts from a German gravestone manufacturer, are being reused to create unique stone side tables. While the exterior of the offcut remains intact, negative space is cut into the interior with core drills that pull the material out in a cylindrical shape. Three different drill diameters were used to achieve the effects. Each unique pattern is a response to the qualities of the individual stones.
