For the exhibition Places to be at the Fondation Martell in Cognac, together with anima ona, I designed the living room called Das Stumme spricht. In this fictional space we blurred the boundary between man, object and nature to convey the feeling of being grounded and involved, in a play between natural phenomena. All objects encounter the visitor with a movement or a certain gesture that can be interpreted. From the rhythm of the spinning lamp which recreates the movement of the sun, the ambiguity of the shapes and movements in the objects themselves, to the dried leaves on the floor, everything in this space is marked by constant change and represents life itself.
